Happy Thanksgiving! While we bustle around and plan out our holiday menus and thaw out our turkeys it's important to remember the spirit of the season. Namely, gratitude. Being greatful for what we have and sometimes even for what we don't. Being greatful and mindful of those who have less. Hopefully we can share some of our gratitude as well as much needed connections and togetherness that sadly, many are missing this time of year. Many are dealing with loss of loved ones or loss of a job, home or fransportation all of which are so important especially during these winter months.
Wednesday night we will have our normal open mic at the American Legion Post 34 and we will be collecting donations of non-perishable foods (canned or dry goods) as well as hygene and cleaning products for homelss Vest and their families. I will also have a set-up fpr Cash Donations to go directly to the Legion's program for homeless Vets. Many of these folks and their families have sacrificed so much for all of us and now are in need of help. It is the very least we can do. Share the Gratitude.
